I love my job! Each day I go to work, I look forward to meeting new people and working with each individual patient to create his or her ideal smile. Knowing that I am helping my patients feel more confident about the way their teeth look and function is the most rewarding part of my job.
I earned my bachelor’s degrees from the University of Washington and Seattle Pacific University. Then I trained as a general dentist at the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, where I earned a Doctorate of Dental Medicine with honors. Since I was one of the top members of my class, I was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society (Omicron Kappa Upsilon), and received several awards, including an award of merit for outstanding achievement in the pursuit of excellence in aesthetic dentistry.
After dental school, I completed a post-graduate program in advanced education in general dentistry, which is an additional year of training in more complex cases that are above and beyond what is covered in dental school. I practiced as a general dentist prior to becoming an orthodontist.
I completed my orthodontic residency at the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where I graduated with highest honors.
Participating in continuing education is very important and beneficial to my patients because it allows me to keep up with the constant advances in orthodontics, and also stay up to date with current products and techniques in all areas of dentistry. Continuing education makes it possible for me to offer the most advanced treatments and techniques to meet the needs of each individual patient.

Family and Community
I grew up right here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and am very excited to have the opportunity to open a practice here and be a part of the local community. I currently live in Kirkland with my husband Chris, and our cat, Cleo. I am fortunate to have my parents, my brother and his wife, and their children all live nearby.
I have always felt that being involved in a community is not only a great way to give back, but also an opportunity to really get to know your neighbors. I am excited to find new ways to give back to this great community and look forward to meeting all of our wonderful neighbors.
